Amalia S. Levi, PhD

Co-executive director; Programs

Amalia S. Levi, an archivist and cultural heritage professional, is Executive Director responsible for Programs and the founder of HeritEdge. She holds master’s degrees in Library Science, concentration in Archives; History; and Museum Studies, and a PhD in Slavery and Dependency Studies. Originally from Greece, she has worked in Turkey, the US, and Barbados. Her work centers on the alignment of people, programs, and resources to maximize engagement with cultural heritage collections and make the past accessible, exciting, and relevant to diverse audiences. Pauline Mager-Jordan

Co-executive director; Human Capital

Pauline is Executive Director responsible for operations at HeritEdge. She is an HR specialist and professional coach with over 30 years’ experience. She is of Guyanese and Barbadian origin and has experience working in the U.K. and the Caribbean. Pauline’s experience in mentoring, coaching and developing teams has led to her broad insight into people, organisational behavior, management styles and business operations. Read more here.

Board Directors

Paul Ashby is the Chief Executive Officer of SigniaGlobe Financial Group Inc., a role he has held since June 2012. He and his leadership team led the seamless amalgamation of Signia Financial and Globe Finance between 2016 and 2018 and have built a successful high-performance culture.

He has been in the banking and finance industry for over 30 years gaining experience in local and regional managerial roles while at CIBC, First Caribbean International Bank. Paul has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Sector Management and an MSc in Project Management and Evaluation from the University of the West Indies, where he has also lectured on Business Strategy and Policy.

Paul has maintained active community involvement over the years as a member Jaycees (JCI) serving in several roles throughout the organization including West Indies JCI President, President of The Rotary Club of Barbados 2017 – 2018, Rotary District Secretary 2021 – 2022. He is currently Assistant Governor of Rotary in Barbados 2024-2025.

He has a keen interest in creating and facilitating personal development seminars for community and youth groups. He also serves as director on several boards in the region.

Pauline Grant is the General Manager of the family owned group of Music Publishers including Greenheart Music Limited, Grant Music Limited & Ice Music Limited.  She also  acts as Business Manager for her father Eddy Grant, a music mogul and 60-year veteran of the music industry.

Pauline has been in the Music industry for 35 years. Her love of Music and fascination with the recording studio led to her being a live sound engineer for local bands and earning her a coveted place on the Music Production and Engineering (MP&E) Program at Berklee College of Music and achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production and Engineering , minor in Classical Piano.

In her current GM role, managing thousands of Caribbean songs and recordings, has resulted in her successful placement of this music in Live Events, Theatre, TV shows, Commercials and Movies internationally.

For 25 years Pauline and her family have consistently supported charities, children’s homes and women’s refuges based in Guyana.   This involvement led to her becoming involved in her UK community especially with the homeless at the Hackney Night Shelter.

Peter Hall is a co-founder and director of LDP Hall & Associates, which has been operating since 2008. He is a change management and value-based leader with specialisations in Organisation Development, Leadership Development and Coaching.

With over 20 years of hands-on executive experience across a number of management disciplines, Peter provides business advisory and consultancy services to a range of businesses and organisations across the Caribbean, leading and delivering many organisational transformations, integrations and change initiatives.

Between 1997 and 2008, Peter fulfilled executive roles for First Caribbean International Bank (now CIBC), Diageo PLC and Red Stripe Limited, completing many international assignments on their behalf. 

Peter holds multiple postgraduate qualifications from the University of the West Indies and is active in community work, serving two Charities in Barbados for over 15 years at operational and board levels. 

Avi Levi is an international executive with a career spanning the Americas, Europe, and Türkiye, his land of origin.  He is the CEO of Alixum International Ltd. (Barbados), serving the Caribbean marine industry; the owner of AnchorBridge Corp. (Rockville, MD), a procurement and import/export company; and a managing partner of Tansa Americas Ltd. (St. Lucia), which distributes entrance control systems throughout the Americas.

Avi is passionate about developing collaborative ventures and has spent more than three decades building a strong track record representing manufacturers in international markets and forging long-term cross-border partnerships.

Avi holds a B.A. in Business Administration and International Marketing from Marmara University. He holds multiple citizenships and has made Barbados his home since 2015.
