Glyne L. Harper is an archaeologist and anthropologist who earned his BA from Stonybrook University. He is currently completing an MA in Heritage Studies at the University of West Indies, Cave Hill.
He is originally from the United States, with Jamaican and Bajan heritage. He now lives and works in Barbados where his passion is to encourage people’s engagement with and understanding of Caribbean cultural heritage. Glyne has conducted archaeological work with the Barbados Museum and Historical Society on several projects in Barbados.
Currently, Glyne is developing heritage and archaeological education programs with the aim of propagating the importance of Caribbean heritage amongst youths. Glyne takes an inclusive and holistic approach to heritage.
Glyne is currently the Program Associate at HeritEdge Connection Inc., while also continuing his archaeological work.
