Anisah Wood

Anisah Wood is a cultural heritage professional and researcher with over five years’ experience in collections care and conservation and intangible cultural heritage.

She is committed to advancing governance and strategic development within the heritage sector through inclusive policies, effective programming, meaningful partnerships, and community-based initiatives fostering cultural resilience and strengthening capacity.

Anisah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Arts, a Master’s Degree in Heritage Studies, and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Preventive Conservation at the University of Northumbria. She has worked across multiple national institutions on cultural projects including the development of the National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage and the UNESCO nomination dossiers for Landship and Road Tennis.

Currently, Anisah is the Program Associate at HeritEdge Connection Inc., The Conservation Studio Manager at the Reclaiming Our Atlantic Destiny Digitization program, and serves as Secretary on the executive committee of ICOM Barbados.
